TODAY, 5/12 NeuroNYC Fireside + Mixer: Orrin Devinsky. Join NeuroNYC for an exciting evening of conversation and connection at their next NeuroNYC Happy Hour! The event will feature a fireside chat with Dr. Orrin Devinsky, a renowned neurologist and Managing Partner at PhiFund Ventures. Dr. Devinsky directs the NYU Comprehensive Epilepsy Center and has led groundbreaking research behind the FDA approval of over ten antiseizure therapies, including the first cannabis-based medication. At PhiFund Ventures, he is actively investing in leading neurotech companies such as Blackrock Neurotech.
Tuesday, 5/13 Eli Lilly Grand Challenge Info Session #2. The 2025 Eli Lilly and Company Grand Challenge event will take place at Lilly’s headquarters in Indianapolis. Selected participants will be invited to network with Lilly executives and scientists and compete for $100,000 USD in non-dilutive grant funding. At this session, join to hear from Jack Stahl, Co-Founder at TheRNA Inc., and last year's winner of the Neuroscience focused Grand Challenge! Focus areas for this year's Challenge span Women's Health and Genetic Medicines, with 6 subtracks include autoimmune disease, cardiometabolic disease, reproductive health, neuroscience, delivery technologies, and regenerative medicine. Finalists will gain direct access to Lilly’s scientific and business expertise.
