Join Mount Sinai Innovation Partners on May 4 for this year’s Mount Sinai Pitch Challenge and hear teams present their technologies and innovative solutions with commercial/business potential for a chance to win a $25,000 [≈ Per capita income - United Kingdom, 2005] cash prize! The participating teams will present their ideas representing opportunities in everything from digital health and devices to diagnostics and therapeutics.
Thursday, 5/4 3D Bioprinting for Drug Discovery and Development. For their highly anticipated upcoming event, 3DHEALS will host a panel discussion with critical stakeholders in the 3D bioprinting drug development ecosystem to update the community on where the field is in terms of technologies and commercialization of the technologies.
Thursdays, 5/4-5/25 Starta Accelerator Spring Pitch Contests. Join the Starta Accelerator program for their Spring 2023 pitch contests in NYC, as founders hone their startups' pitch in front of a panel of judges, consisting of VCs, angels and industry experts. After the presentations, there will be time for Q&A with the pitching startups followed by networking with other frontrunners, entrepreneurs and investors of the NYC startup scene.

Tuesday, 5/9 Mid-Atlantic Bio Angels 1st Pitch Office Hours. Join the Mid-Atlantic Bio Angels (MABA) investment network to practice your pitch at their 1st Pitch office hours session. MABA Office Hours are meant to provide constructive feedback to companies that may be too early for funding, and those who wish to pitch for feedback. They are also open to all to attend, but are intended for companies in MABA’s general areas of investment interest.
Thursday, 5/11 ABCT | WCBA: Pitch Day 2023. Pitch Day 2023 returns in-person to the Florence Gould Theater in New York City. This annual event features pitches and presentations from 23 ventures from both the ABCT and WCBA life sciences accelerator programs. This year's event will also feature a panel of distinguished alums who will share their work changing care within biosciences.
(NEW!) Thursday, 5/11 Non-Academic Careers for International PhDs and Postdocs. Join the MSKCC Office of Career and Professional Development, plus INet NYC for this panel discussion and networking session in Zoom breakout rooms, where you will hear from former academic scientists working in NYC/Boston/CA in non-academic roles and who have navigated visa sponsorship (O1, OPT, H1B, etc.) or greencard options to be a candidate for these jobs. Representing a variety of countrie, these panelists will speak about their experiences being on the job market, and how they are enjoying their career so far.
Friday, 5/19 Nucleate New York Final Pitch Showcase. Join Nucleate’s New York chapter for the culminating event for their second annual Activator cohort, featuring innovative and entrepreneurial student teams spanning all major regional biomedical institutions, developing pioneering work in platform discoveries, diagnostics, and therapeutics. Hosted at Alexandria LaunchLabs, it will be an exciting afternoon of talks from the next generation of biotech leaders sharing their exciting technologies.
Thursday, 6/15 A New York State of Mind. The growth of the New York life science innovation scene has been exponential in recent years and as they say, it takes a village or in this case a city to make it all possible. This panel at JLABS NYC offices will celebrate the NYC life science innovation, discuss how New York City continues to persevere, and highlight some of the unique benefits of innovating in the “city that never sleeps” as well as showcase how each group plays a vital role in helping entrepreneurs bring much needed solutions to patients.
