Monday, 3/10 “Lab to Impact” Thought Leader Series at Cornell Tech. In a special, in-person event on the Cornell Tech campus, Cornell’s Center for Tech Licensing is hosting Emin Gün Sirer, Founder and CEO of Ava Labs, in a fireside chat to discuss Blockchain trends and its application in this new world. Mr. Sirer's leadership in this space will lead to a robust discussion moderated by Martin Teschl, Director of Business Development and Licensing in the Physical Sciences for the Center of Technology Licensing at Cornell.

Friday-Sunday, 3/14-3/16 MIT Hacking Medicine Grand Hack. The start of spring means hackathon season and with it, the hackathon that started them all. Bringing together participants from around the country and world, this weekend-long hackathon will focus on three topic areas of health — Assistive Technology, Heart Health, and Transformative Intelligence — to inspire a marathon of prototyping, pitching, and problem-solving. Participants from all institutions are welcome to apply to this premier hackathon, which has on multiple occasions served as the jumping-off point for new healthcare technology ventures.

This month, the Innovators Social is spotlighting Annalina Che, the Founder of Stemtology, a startup based in HB redefining cell-based therapies by combining machine learning, biological engineering, and synthetic biology.
Thursday, 3/20 NY Hardware Meetup. The 104th edition of New York’s long-running hard tech gathering returns to design firm Frog for a lineup of presentations focused on climate tech and the all-important (but frequently overlooked) supply chain. You might not realize it, but NYC is a hotbed for this kind of innovation and this meetup will be featuring several companies working at the cutting edge of this technology.
