Welcome back and happy new year! After a short holiday hiatus, we’re excited to be back for another year of sharing events and opportunities with this wonderful New York biotech community!

(NEW!) Thursday, 1/9 Nanonite Monthly Social. Join the Nanotech NYC meetup group for an evening of connection, collaboration, and camaraderie at their Nanonite Social, a monthly meetup offering a unique opportunity to mingle with fellow nanotechnology researchers, founders, and enthusiasts in a relaxed and informal setting.

(NEW!) Thursday, 1/9 NY Hardware Happy Hour. Kickoff the new year with a hardware happy hour at local CAD software startup nTop! This will be a happy hour-style mixer for everyone to meet others in the NYC area.

Wednesday, 1/15/25 Launching Technology Ventures from your PhD. Are you a recent PhD graduate (within the last 5 years) with a passion for entrepreneurship and an innovative startup idea? Join Nucleate NYC, Columbia University Postdoc Society (CUPS), and the Tri-I Startup Venture Group for an evening of networking and learning about the Runway Startup Postdoc Program at Cornell Tech (food and drinks included). ​The event will include a panel of Runway Startup Postdoc Alumni and will be moderated by the Director of Runway - Fernando Gómez-Baquero. Tuesday, 1/28/25 Healthtech Talent Mixer: Winter 2025 Edition. ​MarkOne Health and Women in Healthtech are back for the 3rd edition of their extremely popular NYC healthtech talent mixer. ​If you're looking for cofounders, looking to hire, or looking to get hired ​into the best NYC pre-seed, seed, and series A healthtech or medical device teams, this event is for you. (​Last year, the organizers had to limit attendees because of capacity limitations, so please apply early if you would like to participate!)
