Wednesday, 11/6 Applied Science Vol. 7. Applied is back for the 7th edition of their informal social gatherings bringing together creative fields ranging from science, to design, to art. The Applied series aims to be a platform for provoking new ways to discuss and empower New York sciences — discipline-agnostic and application-focused.
(NEW!) Thursday, 11/7 ECHO Biotech Happy Hour. Join NYC’s leading life sciences Entrepreneurs, Clinicians, and Healthcare Operators (aka “ECHO”) for this month’s ECHO Biotech Happy Hour at Clinton Hall FiDi. Join from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM for an evening of great conversations, networking, and a cash bar with fellow biotech professionals and entrepreneurs.
(NEW!) Friday, 11/8 C2T: Our Energy Challenge Workshop. Join TREAD (Translational Research Excellence Across Disciplines) and NanoBioNYC for a one-day workshop, Our Energy Challenge, where attendees will explore global energy challenges through the lens of convergence science. This event is open to all CUNY PhD students from STEM, Social Sciences, and Humanities disciplines.
Thursday, 11/14 Autumn Innovations: Organoids. LRIG-NYC, in collaboration with the New York Stem Cell Foundation (NYSCF), is excited to present Autumn Innovations: Organoids, an insightful event focused on the latest advancements in organoid technology and personalized medicine. The event will feature a panel discussion on the future of organoids, lab tours of NYSCF, and networking with vendors and scientists.

The Hardware Meetup community is excited to announce the 102nd NY Hardware Meetup at Smart Design, an innovation and design consultancy based in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. This month’s edition of the meetup will focus on the wide world of consumer hardware, featuring speakers from host Smart Design, plus Colgate-Palmolive and Hydrific.
